A Special Day at the 2026 Private 8 Championship

It was a great day for Community School of Naples golf at the 2026 Southwest Florida Private 8 Championship!

The Private 8 Championship is held annually at Valencia Golf Club in Naples, and I was excited to shoot a 1-under 71 and win the individual championship. I made five birdies during the round, and I was especially happy with the way I stayed aggressive, trusted my game, and continued looking for scoring opportunities throughout the day.

What made the tournament even more special was our performance as a team. CSN had four golfers finish in the top six and swept the top three spots on the individual leaderboard. Everyone contributed, and we were able to finish the day as Private 8 team champions for every year since I have been in Highschool.

One of the things I love most about high school golf is having the opportunity to compete both individually and as part of a team. Winning the individual title was exciting, but seeing my teammates play so well and celebrating a championship together made the day even better.

As I continue working toward my goal of playing college golf, days like this remind me how much I enjoy competing under pressure, contributing to a team, and trying to get better every time I tee it up.

I’m proud of the way I competed, proud of my teammates, and excited for what’s ahead.

    Go Seahawks!
